Privacy policy

This explains what we collect when you book a consultation, why we hold it, and how to get it back or have it removed.

What we collect

Booking happens on Cal.com, not on this site. When you book, you give your name, email address and any comment to Cal.com, and your card details to Stripe. Neither reaches our systems: we read the booking back from Cal.com afterwards.

When you use the contact form on this site, we send your name, email address and message to our own inbox.

  • Name and email address — to confirm the booking and send the calendar invitation
  • Your booking comment — so the consultation starts usefully
  • Contact form message — so we can answer it
  • Cookie preferences — to honour the choice you made

Why we are allowed to hold it

For booking data, the lawful basis is performance of a contract: we cannot deliver a consultation you booked without knowing who you are and how to reach you.

For analytics, the basis is your consent, which you give or withhold in the cookie banner and can change at any time.

For payment records, the basis is a legal obligation — tax law requires us to keep them.

How long we keep it

Your booking record lives in Cal.com and is kept under Cal.com's retention terms. The payment record lives in Stripe, which we keep for seven years because tax law requires it.

The calendar entry stays in our calendar until we delete it. Contact form emails and other correspondence are kept for one year.

We do not operate a separate database of clients, so there is no second copy of your details anywhere else.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of processors, each of which sees only what it needs:

  • Cal.com — scheduling. Holds your name, email address and booking comment, and sends your confirmation.
  • Stripe — payment processing, reached through Cal.com. Handles your card details; we never see them.
  • Google — the calendar entry and the video meeting link.
  • Resend — sending contact form messages to our inbox.
  • Vercel — hosting. Access logs are kept for seven days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We respond within thirty days.

One limit applies to deletion: where tax law requires us to keep a payment record, that record stays with Stripe for seven years. We delete everything else, and we tell you what was kept rather than leaving you to assume all of it was erased.

To make a request, email hello@prashubhkapoor.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
